In Response to COVID-19

To our Clockworks family,

Along with the rest of you, we've been closely following the COVID-19 updates so that we could make informed decisions on how to proceed. We took a stance years ago as part of our company-wide sustainability policy to put the health and safety of our people first, and that includes our customers, our employees, and our communities at large. We believe it is critical that we all do our part to minimize the spread of COVID-19, and we wanted to keep you all informed with the steps we've taken to do this.

Firstly, let me reassure you that all of our products are safe for purchase and stocking, even those products imported from known COVID-19 locations. The World Health Organization (WHO) states that while it is unknown how long COVID-19 survives on surfaces, it is believes that this strain behaves like other Coronaviruses and only survives on surfaces for a few hours or at most, a few days - far beyond the time it takes for goods to be shipped across the ocean through a variety of temperature conditions. To err on the side of caution, WHO recommends wiping down surfaces with disinfectants upon receipt, and always wash your hands after handling anything new. We have taken the following measures:

A full cleaning crew has been assigned to thoroughly clean and wipe down all public areas including doorknobs, light switches, our break room and coffee areas, as well as door pushes. Thorough sanitizing and cleaning will take place twice daily until further notice. Employees are responsible for wiping down and sanitizing their own work spaces, including computers, phones, peripherals, etc. with provided cleaning supplies. Production employees are encouraged to practice safe personal hygiene protocols by frequently washing hands and maintaining a personal distance from other coworkers.

As always, our customer service team members are available to take orders and/or offer technical support from 8am-5pm Monday through Friday. As we learn more about this, and if our hours of operation need to change for any reason, we will immediately inform all of you through email, Facebook, and Instagram.
